Charlotte, NC area Norton owners gathering

A Norton buddy and I were talking recently that even though the INOA lists over 50 members in North and South Carolina that we've only met a handful of them, even though I've been a member for nearly 20 years and go to many shows and rallies. We're considering having some sort of Norton gathering somewhere near Charlotte this spring and would like to hear from anyone who would be interested so we can get a list of contacts once we're able to judge interest and come up with a place. Sent an email. I know there are a couple up here in Mooresville. I have not met up with them yet. There is a Cafe Racer club in Charlotte. Queen City Aces. They have a Facebook page. I know there are some Norton's there.
 
As Swoosh said, I am definitely interested in an NC gathering. I am about 2+ hours away, so weekday meetings would be difficult.
 
I have posted the three state ride for several years but it looks like you guys are afraid to drag out your trailer queens :mrgreen: . Two years ago was the 10th year and we made it week long event. Monday through Thursday was at my campground and moved to Blowing Rock for the ride on friday. If any of you guys want to do a great mountain ride from my place I am more than willing to work with you and show you around.

I'll go if I don't have to work. My job is just part time though so I don't get any vacation/sick days. About 2hrs for me too, maybe 2.5...

Both Dan and I have done the Three State Ride several times. We didn't do it this past year, but we rode up for the day and waited for everyone to get back and enjoyed dinner with the crew before heading back to Charlotte. I've gotten a fair bit of interest already on having a gathering near Charlotte and we'll definitely talk up the 3State Ride.
 
We're on for April 21 near Cornelius, NC on Lake Norman just north of Charlotte. Any questions, let me know.
