Hello and happy new year to all

I'll replace the drive chain to the rear wheel on my MK3 ..

I bought a new chain that has the designation: 530 5/8 - 3/8. FB.ring (o-ring)?
This new was total of 25 mm. wide. That is 5mm. more than the old one.
I had the chain on today to see if there was space. It was ,, but not much,
I would guess 2-3 mm. on each side. That seemed to go well, but it was tight.
Can I safely use this chain? Is there enough space??

If you haven't already done so, search posts by Andychain on here, he explains a lot about chains and why he feels what you have, is no good!
I do know that a 25mm chain would not work on my 850 as it would fouls the chain guard mount at the bottom of the shock.

Mk 3s have different lengths depending on the front sprocket.

19t - 22t

I can do an iwis non O ring that will fit perfectly but will need some lubing
for £40- £43 depending if you have odd number of links (pins or rollers).

It is good chain and I use it on my Bandit 1200.

Price is plus postage or look for the iwis distributor in your country and
ask for M106SL chain.

Andy

Thanks fast for the trust and just google The Chain Man to find me.
