Am mounting the centre oil tank, as it bridges the frame and the engine cradle there must be an iscolastic mounting on it.

I am I correct in my assumption that the bottom two bolt hole bolt up hard on the battery tray and the top bolt/tab has one of the very small rubber mountings to the frame, therefore iscolated ?.

Thanks in advance ( DogT :) ), and company.....

The oil tank mounts to the battery tray which in turn is mounted to the frame via the engine mount stud and Z-plate bolts. Therefore it is not mounted to the engine cradle and does not move on the isolastics. The top mounting tab does not use a rubber mount.

The lower holes in the oil tank mount with the 2 - 1/4" round metal spacers onto the battery tray. So:

Centre oil tank mounting.

The upper tongue mounts below the flat frame part with a 3/8" long or so round metal spacer so:

Centre oil tank mounting.

I think I posted some pictures of the spacers previously as I remember. No rubber mounts.
