Centerstand Spring Hole Worn

Discovered this worn spring hole while I'm in the process removing power unit. :?: Thinking the best fix is to spot weld the worn area?

Yep - if by 'spot weld' you are talking a spot of weld using mig, or oxy or even electric/stick.

Have a close look at the sidestand bracket, they sometimes need some attention too.

You might want to weld on a washer to help reinforce the opening.

Never gave that a thought. Guess I'll have my neighbor spot weld a washer. On to other fixes. Thanks Ron L.
