With the lifting of restrictions of lockdown be careful out on the roads I have witnessed some appalling driving I think people have forgotten how to drive we’re there going or were they live. If corona didn’t get you some t—t might. Keep safe.

Hell yea. Never noticed so many heads up so many arses. Blowing stop signs, runnin roundabout yields, wrong side of the street. WTF??? I can finally get out and some schmuck is going to broadside me.

Big time. It’s REALLY strange...

I’ve had cyclists swerve in front of me (whilst in the car) in order to overtake another cyclists and maintain 2 metre distancing !

And why have pedestrians forgotten to look for traffic before jumping into the road... sometimes just to ‘social f***ing distance’.

And what’s going on in peoples minds when they stop to talk to each other... but want to social distance... so occupy the whole pavement (translation = sidewalk) forcing everyone else onto the road?

And what’s going on with car drives who also think they need to wait until they can go completely onto the opposite side of the road when overtaking cyclists and maintain 3m+ distancing ?!

And why are 90% of drivers in some kind of slow-mo mode? You’d think they were driving through a minefield !?

And don’t even get me started about runners and pedestrians in the middle of the road... who turn and look at you as though you are in the wrong ?!

And people have become so used to low traffic they have forgotten the concept of ‘give way’ at roundabouts and junctions !?

We‘re a strange species...

Makes you wonder how we got to the top of the tree, doesn't it? But we're still second fiddle to this little Chinese microbe!

Mind you, there was an old joke/saying about climbing the tree: When those further down look up all they see are arses :)

Indeed. Sometimes I’m convinced Darwin was SO wrong...
A gem from the Viz Letterbocks: : 'If Darwin was so great, how come monkeys don't turn into human beings any more?'
A valid question, perhaps? Because looking around I'm not too sure they don't :)

Out on my scoot yesterday turning right at a roundabout so was in the right hand lanes the dual carriageway
Half way around a "white van man" in the left hand lane and going straight on decided to take the racing line and straighten out the roundabout and crossing into my lane...... after violent pressing of the horn and much expletives all I got was the pathetic wave out him window

Sounds like normal Seattle drivers to me. The rules don't apply to the entitled stoners.

Not just 'umans, wildlife also accustomed to less traffic. I just did a late night shop and had 3 deer walking along the road side by side, took up the whole bl**dy lane, worse than cyclists!

and red kites diving onto roads to collect carrion more than usual round the village here in Hertfordshire!

Worse, the deer don't know what the Higway Code is, because they have no idea! :)
