Which aftermarket carbs will work with the stock manifolds and standard airbox on a '74 850 MK2?
Looking to (eventually) ditch the concentrics but I want to keep the airbox (but with a K & N filter inside).

Jeff,
I don't think there's anything but Concentrics that will fit the stock maifold. Most others are rubber mounted.

Why don't you get the amals sleeved if you want to keep it stock? I've been using a single amal sleeved for about 6 years and it has worked great. Absolutely nothing wrong with a sorted amal.
 
I think I'll keep the stock Amals... the bike only has 7K original miles, so it should be a while before the carbs need resleeving.

Your carbs are perfect candidates for chrome plated brass slides, PM me for details.
