Looking for someone to confirm the fit of these carbs with newly designed manifolds and throttle bracket. (I only have a featherbed).

CRS 33mm smoothbores with manifolds, boots, throttle & cable.

No I’m running the FCR flat slides from Matt.

I have run round slide CRs before on a Triumph triple and they’re good carbs.

Both versions have pilot jets (to answer Bernhard’s question) and throttle stop adjustment. The CR is an earlier generation product (hence is popular in classic racing) but the FCR is a better performance instrument (evident from the flat sidles and accelerator pumps).

Good to have the choice though... yer pays yer money...

Nice carbs, I have heard good things about them. Are air filters available for these with this setup? And how do they compare to the flat slides price wise?

Yes K&N has an airfilter that fits and they are not as expensive as the flat slides.

Thanks Gortnipper but I think I've found someone in Calif who has all the various tanks to check fitment.

Was wondering if these could be made to work. I'd have to make manifolds for the P11 unless you made some for your featherbed that you are also planning to sell.

Did you ever make manifolds for your bike? I'd buy this set up for a straight up 750 in a heartbeat.

If this is a product you are planning to sell, when will it be available?

Getting to that idle air circuit adjustment screw looks like loads of fun, but having used larger versions of these on inline 4's I know they work, and work very well.

I've mounted them to my Atlas no problem. You can get straight manifolds from Wassell or Steve Maney. Idle mix screw access is easy. Idle speed screw is accessable with a wrench. Carbs should be available in a couple weeks.

I've changed the design since the video below by relocating a new throttle wheel to the right side.

Thanks for the response Jim.

I'll drop you an email later if it all looks like I can get the setup under my tank without any clearance issues using straight manifolds.

Edit: Oops, should have looked at the video first. Looks like the straight manifolds could work.

After mocking them up with some help from Michael it looks like they will fit all Commandos - but Roadster tanks should be fitted with BAP or Paioli petcocks to get more clearance. Either that or the tank should be shifted forward for stock petcocks (loosen mounts, move forward and retighten).

Interstate tanks will fit and have enough clearance with stock petcocks and 4 tank mount rubbers on each side. Hi riders fit and have enough clearance with stock petcocks.

So now I'm looking for BAP or Paioli style petcocks that come with barbs for the hoses.
