While I have not used his services, friends have, and I have seen his work at bike shows in BC. If I needed a Smiths gauge done I would send it to Andy Henderson at www.vintagebritishcables.com
He works out of Medicine Hat, Alberta.

I can vouch for VBC out of Alberta, rebuilt the smiths tacho on my bonneville, came back looking and working like new... quick turnaround, and he has the proper length cables to avoid further internal damage

Andy just rebuilt a speedo and tach of my Velocette Thruxton, he did a great job, his prices were very fair and he turned them around quickly despite the Christmas and New Year holidays. Very nice guy and easy to work with.
