Cam interchange.

Tearing down my 73 850 I found the cam to have some fairly severe pitting on one lobe. I was able to score a used one on ebay in nice shape that was also supposed to be from a 73 but on inspection it has some difference. This one has the notches for the breather disc and also has a couple of holes at mid point of the shaft. It does have the tach drive gear in the right place and has scrolled bearings. Any problem using this?

should not be an issue.

DO NOT USE THE SAME LIFTERS unless they have been resurfaced. Using previously-used lifters on a different cam can quickly destroy the cam.
