Re: Calendar Call 2012

That'd be great AC. Want to have it ready for download by the end of the first week of Jan. If that's enough time, I can wait.

Re: Calendar Call 2012

Got 'em, thanks Platinmsmith and thanks also to Sweenz. Think I've enough to start now.

Re: Calendar Call 2012

Dave;

Here are 3 pictures that I just took today (New Years Eve). There should be snow on the ground, but instead it is 44 F. :D That is the Mississippi River in the background. I just got done replacing the layshaft bearing and this was a 25 mile test run. :D Success!!

Re: Calendar Call 2012

Thanks Jeff and Mike.
Nice work there Jeff, terrific result, can I have a close-up of your oil cooler installation please - looks very tidy.
Glad the bike's sorted Mike, looks great.
Snow you say. We're shooting for 36 (97F) today, 38 (100F) tomorrow. Don't really mind as Melbourne summers are very low humidity and the nights are cool enough to sleep.

Re: Calendar Call 2012

Thanks..

Here are some cooler close-ups:
It's a Lockhart with a built in thermostat. Harley bracket was removed and a new one fabricated.

All done. Click this link to download the calendar.

Print it off double-sided in landscape format on a colour printer using quality paper, staple along the top edge and punch a hole in the middle of the bottom and voila! Your very own calendar showing the greatest motorcycle ever made. You will also find at the back some dates of interest for those keen on bike racing.

If you have a single-sided printer, you can run this off in two passes, printing every second page each time.

I'm trying something a little different this year with "The Road Rode". I wrote it for the TWF guys in some haste on New Years Eve and didn't have time to polish it, but seeing as I borrowed a couple of lines from Hobot (November) I thought I kind of "owed" it here as well. Thanks Steve. Really wasn't sure about whether it was appropriate for the calendar, but it sorta summed-up the year's riding for me, so I thought - sod it.

Hi Dave - Thanks for doing this. I printed it out this morning and have it hanging on my office wall. Nice mix of bikes.

Good work Dave you put a lot of effort into producing a nice calendar, well done, printing it out as we speak!

February looks good! nice and retro. But I could be slightly biased in my opinion :D

Thanks Dave, well done, will print and take a few copies to the rally of the NOC NZ end of Jan.
My birthdays is the same month you posted my pics well done and thank you
Regards Mike

Dave did a great job, and a big thank you to all contributors!
Thumps up for Dave and for Jerry for giving me the go-ahead to mention the calendar in a link on the website www.nortonclubnederland.nl of the dutch Norton club! Cheers, Bennie.
