What did it measure at, at Cadwell? Donington is a ride by, I've got away with my 7r on a full race system on a quiet day.Stuart, I’m struggling to find a day that has a high enough decibel limit…
Cheers mateBeautiful leathers !
It was over 102 with the shorties on it. I got tossed from Brands and pushed over to Cadwell. It’s a 5000RPM stationary sound check. What did it measure at, at Cadwell? Donington is a ride by, I've got away with my 7r on a full race system on a quiet day.
That's a quiet one !!102db is most probably just your primary side lol
So these circuit limitations do seem a bit extreme in comparison. It's a motor racing circuit, everybody expects it to be loud.
Yes, I'd forgotten that the circuits are used a LOT more these days. I can see how that would irritate. That is very true. And many circuit neighbours have been very unreasonable over the years, ie complaining about noise from race meetings that, unbeknown to them, had been cancelled !
However, in the past circuits had races at weekends, and not every weekend. These days they have track days 7 days a week, week in week out, even in the evenings. I do understand that that could get rather tiresome !
But at 102 db quickbrit has plenty of choice, there are many track days that operate at a 105 limit.
