Does anyone know, is that the factory crash bar fitted on that bike? I've never seen a Commando with an original crash bar and was just curious.

I don't suppose you will, drop it and the frame down tubes are bent.

Ya dang right a drop at some speed will twist up-crush the thin down tubes no problemo and reason essentially None are see on C'do's today. Peel must have a crash cage, that is rather more robust and triangulated that a after thought side stand drop only baby bumper. I found breast buds on Ms Peel when prepping frame. Took me a while to figure out it was weld/braze repair thickness from crash bar event before I got her.

This instant racer does have a bit of clever bracing back up I may have to consider too, as frame bends a bit the crash tube will hit a header to take up some the smashing damage.

Looks like its mounted to the Front Iso , to get around that .There has to be somewhere for them to all stand,
when theyve got 20 riders aboard . Not that its dangerous , or anything . :p
