Are those new plug-in LED/bulbs made to take into account positive ground? Or have you converted your bike to negative ground?

I have seen them made for positive ground but not for $3. I think Goffy bulbs had some.

The one I have doesn't care. Other LEDs will.

There is no plug in bulb that comes anywhere close to this circuit board. Even most aftermarket led light assemblies are junk compared to these.
I have the 850 version and I had them make some custom turn signals. They also stand behind their product and have good customer service

Thanks everyone for all the info. It appears that the replacement LED lights are still in their infancy. Very good idea though.

One bulb didn't even last to installation. Although it may be a solder joint, the bulb may be fine.

Swoohes kit looks to have more robust size wires compared to the tiny thin ones I found to be weakest link on more minor crashes but fine for rough rides otherwise. I've had to solder a few back on the circuit boards and of course replace the shattered outer lens and stalk. I gave up on these stick out to far Norton signals, Triixe didn't come with any and next Peel will have about flush mounted type.

The word on the Atlas (and to a lesser extent on the 650SS) was that headlight bulbs were usually dead after about 5000 miles and it didn't make any difference whether you ever switched them on. The vibration was so bad that the tungsten filaments were shaken off the posts inside the bulb! Tunsten, particularly in the tight coil configuration of lighting elements, is very brittle.

Recieved the LED tailight globe today and tried it on, and as some predicted it was rubbish! but nothing ventured nothing gained
took a couple of snaps beside the KTM for comparison

I just installed mine today and it is great. If it prevents one person from rear-ending me...it is worth every penny. I did a similar BRIGHT light on my Harley. (Harley actually strobes when you engage the brake light).

This is just the running light....
