Ok, probably should of known this one, but I got it for a good price. I got a 2 into 1 BUB exhaust for the Commando. The seller said it would go on a 750 or an 850. HOWEVER, it does not want to match up to the cylinders. GO FIGURE! lol Can these be "adjusted", "bent", "massaged", into fitting? Anyone had any experience with this or am I just better off selling them?

OH goodie, I mean oh no not another wasted bargain item. If you can't get it to do it for you I am interested in your wasted bargain to take work my will on it.

I remember a while back you mentioned about buying that exhaust. Didn't it come off a norton? Or did the guy fib to you :D .
The photo shows my old MAC 2-1. Never did like it. But now I have a Dunstall 2-1 on my 73' and it's a real nice sounding piece.

I went back out in the garage after dinner to give it another try. Problem one, was that I was trying to put them onto a head that was off of an engine. The second was I think that they got just a little tweaked in shipping. I was able to coax them again and get them to mount up. However I will need to source a need side stand. The mount of the BUB exhaust makes using the center stand impossible. But all and all I got them for less than $100 so I figure it was a pretty good deal.

Wait a minute, why am I confused? Photo shows HyAreYouRyder with center stand down. Does it foul folding up or is your set a different version? The trick of bringing the LH over to RH is not to have fender hit it on bottoming.

Hirider is wearing Mac cruiser pipe. Bub 2-1 is performance pipe that runs under the bike to give better ground clearance under lean angles. But I thought the Bub end can was Conti style, doesn`t look it in the picture unless it`s missing it`s endcap-baffle.

How'daya get the Clamp Rings ON ?

Ordinarrily extractors take a set to match the bolts , after use .
Despite walking everywhere no matter how carefully you assemble them,
with individual header plates .

SO , if its mounted STRESS FREE , it should self align after a few good thrashings . :D 8)

I would be mounting the rear Mount / mounts To The CRADLE , so as the whole things ISOlated
and actually ridgid . No long unsupported bit rear, yu kinda hangem mid weight, so bouncings
neutral , to avoid stress cracks. AND refit / adjust rear mount periodically as it ' settles in ',
so as stresses are neutral , therefore non-existant .

Did the olde large mega with 2 1/4 hole reverse cone , wasnt to noisey , below 6.000 . :p

Ugh, my new C'doSpecalties peeshooters are rather heavier than the full tapper ones the baffles broke loose in. Just idling they are a hazard to see working its way up to header fracture. Could you clever ones show off the better support system you figured out?

I know BUB made a variety of C'do pipes but thought they all had similar advantage of 2 into one power extractor function. Can someone fill me in on what their differences are in function over just looks and stand fitting?

As to the loudness only after 6000, I can relate to that on Combats that are in cruise power till upper 6000's then 3rd piston noise and pull kicks in.
