I am doing my rear drum as I have a new one.
The circlip which holds the double row bearing in has broken both ears off of the circlip.
How the heck am I going to get the clip out. I tried prying it with various picks and screw drivers to no avail.
Any trick you'd like to share?

You could try tapping the bearing in a little, that might take the pressure off of the clip. Then you should be able to get a pick or small screwdriver on the clip. Hold one end in place and force you tool under the other end. Tap on the outer part of the race as not to damage the bearing.

I got it out. I just nibbled away at the clip with a 1/4" carbide tipped chisel.
Quite fragile that clip is.
