Bring out your dead

Maybe some of you remember this bloodshed from a couple years ago. I really need to get back to this project. Mostly because I miss riding the bike so much. I got some Guzzis so help with the pain and they have helped but I going to sell one of them to help fund the Norton.

Plus I just posted some unneeded MkIII parts (crankshaft and crankcase) in the For Sale area here to help too.

My current plan is to purchase a spare Combat engine from a friend of mine, I should be able to (fingers crossed) just pop it in the bike and get it going.

From there I will disassemble the broken motor and see how bad it is. I did pick up some immaculate Combat cases that could be used a donor to patch the hole. I do want to keep the original numbers. Once it's open I'll see what else I'll need.

Unfortunately the MkIII parts won't do me any good so I hope they can go to a good home.

I also may be able to use the parts from Rusty Gold (lets see who remembers that saga!) to fix the engine, if it ever come apart.
