Breather elbow Diameter and TPI

The elbow has a lock nut, so finding the nut thread ought to identify the elbow thread?


According to the Andover Norton parts list, the part number of that nut was originally NM24303, and is now part: 067880 http://www.nortonmotors.de/ANIL/Norton% ... 04&Part=43 item [43].



Checking 067880 against the Stainless Bits list http://stainlessbits.com/link12a.html it comes up as: "??? 1/2" x 20" however NM24303 is listed as "CEI 1/2" x20" and in fact that number goes right back to the early Atlas, so it is probably 1/2 x 20 CEI Cycle thread although there's very little difference between Cycle and UNF as both are 60° angle threads.
 
I knew someone would be able to figure it out without me taking it off.
