I bought a stainless rear safety spring and am wondering, how does this go on the brake lever? A photo of one installed would be awesome.
Bought it to add a bit more "lift" for the brake pedal to help keep the brake light off. Looks better than a piece of innertube tied there.

Thanks.

Steve

Take the grease fitting off the brake pivot and the pedal will come off, slide the return spring on and reassemble. Took me just a few minutes and no worries about the brake like breaking and the pedal eating pavement!!!

Good luck

This is exactly my problem! Where might one purchase one of those brake safety springs?

I fitted one recently and while it may prevent the pedal eating the bitumin I doubt it will do much to add lift to keep the rear brake light off. Bit of a wimpy thing really.
