Brake safety spring

I bought a Brake safety spring for the rear brake lever and can't for the life of me figure out how it mounts, what the ends of the spring go to.
Any pictures of your spring set up would be nice.
I bought this a year ago and am now getting around to it.

If you find that you have been supplied a 'Rear brake return spring' from the rear hub, it can be modified to become a 'Rear brake safety spring' to fit to the brake pedal arm. I know this because I once had a spare 'return' spring but no 'safety' spring. Neccesity being the mother of invention and all .
