Brake lite won't go off, Bad switch or wires ??

My brake lite keeps staying on periodicly. It's the front switch on the Master Cylinder & it's fairly new, seemed fine at first but all of the sudden while I'm ridding or sometimes just testing it in my garage it comes on but won't go out. This is driving me nuts not being able to figure this thing out. Anyone have any ideas or are these switches that defective?

unplug the wires from the switch see if the light goes out...

I replaced mine, only to have it fail almost immediately. At $20 or more per, I'm not happy.

Did you check to be sure it isn't the switch for the rear brake at your left foot.
Cheap plastic thing.
Maybe need to confirm it is adjusted correctly.

Resolved. Just bad connections at the switch making it work intermittently. I knew it wasn't the rear switch because I don't use one. Sorry your switches are failing so fast backslider, I haven't had much trouble with them. Hope you get it resolved.
