Boyer question

I have a box of various Boyer parts. Are the trigger units...rotor and stator...interchangeable between the standard box and the micro-digital?

Also do the magnets ever lose their strength?

Yes, I have swopped from MK3 to Micro Digital boxes and kept the rotor and stator, the only issue was the timing changed and had to be reset, the change was about 10 or even 15 degrees and the rotor had to be pulled from its taper to get back in adjustment range.

Yes they do.

If you have an early pickup with the screw in sender wires they are better than the later type bullet connectors that suffer from fracturing cheers

Yes magnets lose their strength. Every time you ask those little magnets to trigger electronics . Also why your new alternator rotor comes with keeper shields to prevent "bleeding".
