I have a Boyer ignition and power box, the warning light assimilator all fitted as purchased the bike. Bike runs great and alternator is charging. Warning light doesn’t go out. Is that because of the Power box? I’ve read they are not compatible with the assimilator. Is there a way to make the light work or should I just fit an oil light in place like I’ve seen posted?

All info and opinions welcome.

I have the same on a Mk3. The light goes out when the engine runs, except when very first started cold and I release the throttle (revs drop below 1,000). So, it should work OK. I think it is only telling me the alternator is producing a charge, as opposed to the charge exceeds the drain?

"If your Norton has a charging warning light simulator it must not be used with the power box, remove it. If the light control is required fit the power box type PBOX00166 with charging light control."

There are better (than the 3AW assimilator) kits available for charge warning or charge and low oil pressure.
Examples:

Apologies I mistyped my post I have a Boyer electronic ignition and a tympanum regulator.

Is the 3AW assimilator connected correctly?
The 3AW isn't all that reliable and why it's often better to fit one of the modern replacements.
