So this came today. $15 and with Prime it was here in two days (Sunday delivery!). Plugged it into my Mac and fired up Quicktime Player. Makes it super simple to view and capture the video. There is also a brightness control for the lights.

The price fluxiates, it was $15 when I got it and then it dropped to $12 and now it's higher.

I shot a quick video just to try it out.

Sorry for the Guzzi content. I can't bring myself to probe the hole in the Norton crankcase yet. :|

Thanks for loading the video. The clarity of the image looks good enough to show evidence of blowby, seizure, wrist pin keepers come adrift, etc.

Inside the motor it seems like checking the walls for scratches and the top of the pistons is about as much as you can see. Is this correct or can you see more?

It's just my first attempt. I need to try some things to get more control of the camera.

You can also stick it up the drain hole and check the crank or in my case, the gaping hole left by the rod. :(

Careful Dave,

The directions on the Amazon link provided state, "Connected to your PC/laptop: easy to use, without internet, just plug into the USB port of PC/laptop, open the APP in the Driver CD to preview the image, capture photos or videos,no download, and everything will be ready." I am not all that computer savvy so not sure what is being said regarding an Android. I have PC stuff not Mac. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Jim

I have a similiar cam as well. These USB cams usually work on PC and Mac. It is helpfull to look at places which are not accessible. Also little magnets, hooks and mirrors are available which can be fixed.

The camera comes with a CD (a mini CD so you have to use a tray drive) for the PC. You install the app and plug your camera into a USB port and it should work.

With Android you are suppose to be able to download an app and with a USB adapter plug the camera into your Android tablet or phone. I bought a camera and Android tablet for my dad but never got it to work correctly. He needs to try the camera (not the one linked) with his Mac and see if he has better luck.

All of these cameras are made in China and most of them have questionable translations on their instructions. :|

Usually it is plug and play on a PC. Even W XP has a camara app on board.
