Ugh, in some split brain people one side of the brain is snapping the throttle in glee faster than the other side can send out its countering vote NO NOT HERE. I love to see how much faster rear is going than actual surface speed, which usually involves a near and dear subject not touched on much here, crossed up handling states, of which I can classify at least 3 types I can control but only ever care to ever do again on Ms Peel. This gets into Phase Five handling zone transitions in which its handy to know rear rpm for sense of not over doing the spin and sense of when its about to hook back up before lines back up. Too bad ya don't know what ya missing w/o a tri-linked wonder, Especially with huge windscreen - I lost most the sense of any speed feed back only the sense of acceleration, so though I didn't have to break below the ton on some 35 mph sweepers the far over lean would put my head into danger zone of oncomming free flyers so always glanced at speed to adjust it for safety reasons not any thing to do with loss of perfect control right next to the outside paint line safety zone. Ms was so good speedo was for going slow enough not for judging what I could get away with. Burn outs w/o brake self stablize if rear is kept above hi way speed with ground speed just a few mph. My Japan cycle's quality electrics after some crashes leaves speedo dead so I do use tach to stay under radar notice. Peel should have GPS dash cam speedo data logger for when I can't dare glance away from next aim point.
