The top 4 vid's just need a little "perseverance" and blast off will happen sooner or later........ Home grown "enginuity" ... Love it..

I was depressed to hear how rough it ran after such pump up efforts but could hear its potential BUTT perfect example of the issues of using a positive displacement Compressor that always forces an extra amount of set air/mix ratio flow per rpm rather than matching the rpm-power needs on less than WOT launches and uses - like the centrifugal Blowers. To over come the lower blowing power of centrifugal of off idle throttle snap response the positive Compressor excel at, just let rpm spike a fraction of a second before releasing clutch then can build PSI above the set ratio of positive Compressors flattening out past mid range. There is a lack of U-tube video on boosted Commando's though plenty of them can be searched up with still chemical photographs and vintage drag events. The P!! I had was perfectly tuned on dual 30 mm AMALs so none of the stall outs or bog downs on launches or miss firing break downs near red line, just care not to snap throttle to fast in lower gears and not go over couple grand past 7000 rpm. AMALs did run out of flow past 120 so pull to 150 was not hard to hold on to. P!! would not reach 150 in only 1/4 mile though. I never got it over 130ish the Harley 1%'r told me as vibes so bad and speed scares me. No speedo on race cycles don't make any sense to me.

Theyre just good at arithmatic .

A ACCURATE tach , when youve figured rpm's for speed limits in 3rd & 4th , who needs a speedo . :mrgreen:
pulled up riding to work in the damp on the racing triton , young guy bored with wet standing at corner , M/C
Cop = " HOW fast were you going " Er ' It was at 3 or 4 ' . :? " THATS all right then " .

Half of them ( pointsman etc ) would want to see it , and hold traffic at intersections to further my passage .

:D :D wasnt that noisey with no mufflers or much else fitted . gotta keep the weight down . :D :D

Ugh, in some split brain people one side of the brain is snapping the throttle in glee faster than the other side can send out its countering vote NO NOT HERE. I love to see how much faster rear is going than actual surface speed, which usually involves a near and dear subject not touched on much here, crossed up handling states, of which I can classify at least 3 types I can control but only ever care to ever do again on Ms Peel. This gets into Phase Five handling zone transitions in which its handy to know rear rpm for sense of not over doing the spin and sense of when its about to hook back up before lines back up. Too bad ya don't know what ya missing w/o a tri-linked wonder, Especially with huge windscreen - I lost most the sense of any speed feed back only the sense of acceleration, so though I didn't have to break below the ton on some 35 mph sweepers the far over lean would put my head into danger zone of oncomming free flyers so always glanced at speed to adjust it for safety reasons not any thing to do with loss of perfect control right next to the outside paint line safety zone. Ms was so good speedo was for going slow enough not for judging what I could get away with. Burn outs w/o brake self stablize if rear is kept above hi way speed with ground speed just a few mph. My Japan cycle's quality electrics after some crashes leaves speedo dead so I do use tach to stay under radar notice. Peel should have GPS dash cam speedo data logger for when I can't dare glance away from next aim point.
