I'm thinking of changing out the handlebars for a set of low rise European touring bars in basic black. We have a supplier out here in L.A. that has made good quality bars since I was crashing dirt bikes back in the 1960s and used to have to buy them on a regular basis. This company has a very nice website and show a set I thought might be great in black chrome. The problem is that they want $100.00 plus $20.00 shipping and sales tax, quite a sum for a set of handlebars.
There is an outfit on ebay that offer some bars at a more reasonable price but they are powdercoated black rather that finished with the black chrome. Has anybody tried these? Do you know of a good source for black bars?
