Any idea of the cost? a small fortune I'd imagine.

You better ask them.

It's only money - you can't take it with you....

At this point we may just as well refer to it as CNC casting. You can use CNC to make patterns but
why not just make the thing directly?
Just beautiful work.

I do remember there was a set of CNC crankcases offered on eBay about a year ago.
Don’t recall the seller. If memory serves me correctly I think they went for $3,500 US.

Hello everyone, I'm glad you all like our cases we are manufacturing down here in New Zealand, this is our second run and probably our last run, we are making 12 sets and have only 8 sets left, I have videos of the case being machined but I don't know how to download them to this site
I'm happy there is interest in these

I can only guess at how nice they must look inside & out but besides the obvious beauty which would surely outshine the stock castings, does the fact that they are made from billet make them significantly stronger??

Very nice Richie! Nice Tui soundtrack as well, have them in the back garden. I see you are over in Onehunga? Hmm... would love a perv at the product...

Those cases are beautiful - I wish I could afford a set, but my finances are so tied up with finishing off several Commandos at the same time that it's sadly out of the question. :(

Welcome, Richie.

Just wondering why, if you've done all the initial setup and programming, you couldn't do another run of 8 - 12 sets of cases anytime you had sufficient orders to do so?

I would imagine that the significant cost curve would be on the increasingly profitable downswing after the first two runs...

At any rate, very nice work.
