I'm working on a monthly budget for my winter build. Due to long lead times I ordered my Maney/JS pistons last month.

Next on the budget is the cam as that will allow me to assemble the bottom and do a mockup of the valve train to check clearances.

Where's the best place to purchase the Web 312a cam stateside? (price/leadtime)
 
Either Webcam or Jim is a good place to start. I believe you have to do a core exchange from both of these sources though.

The Web 312a can be run with flat or 4"radius followers. (or a combination of the two) That allows me a "Plan A" and "Plan B" or possibly even a "Plan C" .

I want to mock up the valve train with flat followers for maximum duration and overlap. If clearances are sufficient I will go that route. If things are a bit too close I can have the followers ground to the 4" radius to reduce duration and or overlap.
