So what's wrong with BAP?

Fast Eddie said:Matt at CNW sell some very neat 90 degree outlet taps cw with ON-OFF-RES function. Nice taps, but not original looking. Email him as they're not on his site.
Before using Matts, I used taps from Andy Molnar in UK, they look original and have great flow, they are a taper type, so no rubber inside to swell and block passages (as happens). Trouble with Andy's is they're racing taps, so only have ON-OFF function.

Are the CNW versions with the plastic handle? Seen them.
I can't find any information on Andy Molnar's version.

These are what I use also. Very happy with them. No problems. However, I bought mine from BCF Cycles.

I took mine apart, put the tapered brass end in a drill, put some valve lapping compound on it and ground it back in to it's seat. You can get new viton o-rings at your local auto store. My rebuilt ones seem to hold pretty good, but they will probably wear out again with usage, plus like I said, they don't have the stop nut and that makes putting that rubber seal gasket on them hard.elefantrider said:What is involved with reworking an original one?
