I think I found reason for Trixie Combat periodic cycles of hi freq buzz but not basic engine vibes. The under tube where top steady screws in frame is bent to LH 3/8".

I now know the event that caused this, '05 deer side strike on head light jerked bike horizontal out from under me, as helmet slammed into deer rump which shot me at ground so hard I ricocheted in air all stretched out like superman, while bike must have landed just behind me on its tires side ways to hi side up and land on my extended L knee by the engine fins, then spin around on knee to put L foot behind mid back, with broken off foot peg pinning R boot under still ruining bike with gas pouring out, and nothing I could use to bare against or reach with worked or would allow me to reach key ob side or kill button on bars, almost passed out in more pain holding and holding the kill button long enough it stayed dead. My lower leg stayed on ground as I lifted leg to move till skin stretched so much it bugee'd the lower leg up to smash into shattered joint. Only way I got home from freezing on road was to hold leather chaps in a bunch to hold lower leg up enough to swing forward 2-3" at 'shuffle' as going beyond that felt like electric axle and leg did not stop at all from swinging forward to kick my own nose w/o much hip flex needed. I'm bypassing old kill button to get one touch stay killed button and rip cord to boot.

I did this a 2nd time this June on Wes's '71, drum brake locked front on slight lean hitting invisible grit about 30 ish mph, flipped us sideways on grass to slide head light into big oak tree. We saw no damage to the Hy Ryder fiber tank and I rode it 60 mile back home. Wes smelled gas to find head steady plate bent almost 90' into tank. JBW fixed tank and Trixie gave up her top kit so he was riding next week. My R knee had a fin edge dent in top of patella/knee cap and jean had burnt in grease stain streak or paint as don't come out in the wash. Will have him check his under tube. Walked like Festus a few days then fine.

Will try to correct bend some by 16# sludge and wood block tapped on. I know my wife can't be tricked again in assisting with such fine fettering. Ok nor ride with me. I can't blame her a bit, I wouldn't either.

So add to list of what can make Cdo's annoying and wearing to pilot and parts.

R knee got it again couple months ago by SV650 goats tripped out, not bad fracture nor dislocation so only 4 days of Festus gimp then few more to forget about it. SV is still all F-ked up as Trixie on front burner now. But hey SV engine cases and frame were soft tissue and fabric protected so intact whew.
