Hey everyone,
Been out of the loop for a few months since my wife passed away and have moved.
Been a doozy with the new house, painting, flooring and general clean up. Slowly making way back to getting the Norton back together. I have a utility room that I have made my shop. Will be nice for once to be able to work on the bike in a temperature controlled environment!!

Hope to be able to get the frame out to a powder coater and start getting things back together. Being a single dad now cuts into my hobby time but in no rush!
Hope everyone is doing well and will be catching up on the boards as time allows!
Cheers!!

I am sorry to hear about your wife. You surely must have your hands full being a single dad. I don't know what else to say...

Another one with a scar in the heart so nothing for it but build anew around it. We see where you cleanly display motorcycle items but where do ya work on on em?

Sorry for your loss.

Still in Mississippi? By temperature controlled you mean air conditioned?

Sorry to hear of your lost, but life must go on and fixing a Norton is a good start to recovery, I like the posters on your work room wall and I can only dream of having such a clean workshop.

Take care and to a speedy recovery.

Ashley

Ok hotbot, that is where I work on it, lol! There is a three foot door leads to garage where the bike will sit but can work on it on that room. One of the main reasons I bought the house. Bench is plenty big to work on trans and engine then throw them on frame. Working on bike helped me a lot through my wifes treatments so I expect the same, and now have funds to work on it just time is a premium while finishing up projects on house. And by temperature control I mean both ac and heat. This cold snap has been nasty, not supposed to get into teens in Mississippi!! Using the posters as guides since the breakouts are small in manual. Good to work in house though, easier to keep eyes on kids!! Once I finish up some doors in youngest sons room that will be the last big project for a while. Gonna take my time anyway, no reason to rush!

Glad you are back.
Keep on keepin on!

That not a shop, it's a labratory. Magnifying lamp! I need one of those more and more everyday.

Lookin good! I'm not sure your cat approves of the engine on that nice soft looking pad though.

Very sorry for your loss, and great work on the room. Looking forward to seeing pictures of your projects :)

Upon hearing of your situation, my problems shrink to insignificance.
A good clean workspace is an important part of a good rebuild, well done.
All the best to you.

Your attitude tells me you will overcome any obstacle.

Brother,
I am so sorry for your loss. My apologies for not getting in touch with you sooner. I have to admit I lost track during my recent retirement and trying to get moved from Tupelo.
Let's make a real effort to stay in touch and collaborate on getting your uncle's old bike back on the road.
