i know that it has been touched on previously, but any suggestions on a replacement battery for my 850 with Boyer and 3 phase alternator? something that will free up some space in the box but give me good output to avoid the typical Boyer low voltage issues.
thanks.....

don't know about freeing up space, but you'll never have starting probs again with an Odyssey PC545. Got one on my electric start Trident as well, which are notoriously bad starters, they're great.

I also use Odyssey PC545 batteries and they should work with all Commando charging systems, but there really isn't any need to use a battery of that size and weight on a non-electric start Commando, a much smaller modern battery of 7-12 AH should be quite adequate.

Yeah your right LAB, I shoulda read the post more carefully. I assumed Jerome was refering to an electric start model.
Odeyssey's are quite pricey and probly OTT for a kickstart bike.
