Barbers Vintage Festival 2010

I'm loading the trailer today & tomorrow; gotta move slow to make sure my back doesn't get aggraveted, I don't need to be aching on the race bike.

I am enduring my last painfully long day at work until the 17th. Freezing on a bike is better than being at work

I can relate to the work-thing, here is my trip to Barbers:

Wake up Wednesday "morning" at 15:00, be at work at 17:15, work until 06:00 Thursday morning, drive to Barbers, bed early Thursday evening and be at the rally Friday morning.

28 hours without sleeping is a long-day but it's "normal" in my world.

We're hauling out of here tomorrow morning.

I made a last-minute deal to take a scruffy old Honda 750 to a guy for some gas money (every little but helps)

The boss called me at the last minute and told me that there was a screw-up, my relief was coming a day EARLY. I'm headed for Barbers in the morning!

As of now I don't know about "The BB" I sure hope he makes it but if not I COMPLETELY understand, sometimes you just have to do what the Doctor says.

I hope you all have a safe trip.
AND have the time to post pictures, please.

Man oh Man, would I like to drive a Norton around that place.

In 2009, I did Kevin Schwantz' mid week Two Day School at Barber on the school's 600 Suzukis and Hondas. What a GREAT track! I won the "Most Improved Rider" award from Mr. Schwantz and his instructors.

After the school was concluded everyone went on to two days of VIP hospitality suite track accomodations at the Indianapolis GP. Saturday night we saw and HEARD Kenny Roberts do the Indy Mile on the TZ700 dirt tracker.

The Barber Museum is a must do pilgramage for any gear head. Seeing the Indy track is another one. Bonneville is holy ground, been there. Still have to see Daytona, never been there.
