Hello guys, I'm finally getting around to posting this mini-series from another amazing trip to the vintage festival. We had a terrific time. There's always so much to see and do and not enough time. It really is like Disneyland for vintage motorcycle fans. I tried to capture lots of Nortons in the video clips. Unfortunately, the guys on "Norton Hill" looked like they were dealing with saturated campground following the recent heavy rain, but I hope this didn't dampen their spirits. It was great to see @jerrykap again. Jerry appeared as if by magic just like Mr. Ben (a favourite UK children's TV program reference), after I had just taken a few clips of his P11. We met at the incredible Allen Millyard bike collection.
Hope you will enjoy!
Cheers, Mike.

I already watched these Mike. Great videos, I take my hat off to you for the production and editing.

A couple of years ago I worked in Alabama and went to the Barber Museum so often even the guys at the counter commented to me. But I loved the place and just never got bored. Your videos brought all that back.

I’m gonna try and get over there for the festival one day. And that’s largely your fault…

The times that I got to race there (2007, 2008, and 2010) I arrived on Wednesday, checked into the hotel, then went to the museum. I typically spent most of Thursday at the museum, then "popped in" a time or two throughout race weekend. I cruised the swap meet Saturday morning between practice sessions, and cruised the pits 3 or 4 times each day all weekend.

If you go to Barber's JUST to see the museum, you really need a day and a half, to TWO full days to REALLY take it in. Even then, you just CAN'T see it ALL.

Does anyone know what was sold in the surplus auction ? It was mentioned on the activities listing and it was to be on Sunday afternoon.

I loved your mini-series on Barbers. Thanks for sharing.

Barber is my "happy place." I have been 4 times and will go again if I can. I got to meet George Barber as he was just walking around. I am afraid I gushed praise and adoration at him. Vintage Days are my kind of motorcycle event.
