Yeah, I know, this is about a month and a half late. But really, there isn't any Norton content.

Just a panoramic view of the track, some footage from the airshow and another panoramic view inside the museum.

And yes, the museum is more spectacular than anyone has told you.

Enjoy.

Been there, seen that (at least a half-dozen times), would go back EVERY CHANCE I got, ESPECIALLY on the track!

Yes, but not everyone has.

If you could do JUST ONE vintage race, it SHOULD be Barber.

I mean to go WATCH, or to get on the track and RACE. Either way.

You've heard the expression "World Class"? Well, THIS IS IT.

And yes, the museum is more spectacular than anyone has told you.

Some people won't believe that 'till they actually get there.

Yep, Barber is a "bucket list" place, both to see the museum and to ride the track. You will need at least two days. As a MC gear head, IMO, it's even better than Speedweek at Bonnevile.

When (not if!) you go to the Vintage Festival, bring your walking shoes!
It's a rally so big you can not see it all!
I will join in the chorus of "the museum has to be experienced to be believed!!" (but HANDS OFF! or you will have to deal with the Tiger).

Two days is good, but if you go on vintage festival race weekend, you need 2 days for that by itself.

There's really just TOO MUCH to see and do, if you also intend to spend time visiting with friends. People who have tried will tell you, there's no way to do it ALL.

-In the pits, checking out race bikes being worked on & talking to racers
-helping out in the pits (endless opportunities)
-checking out the pit lane as grid groups come and go, to see & hear the bikes
-watching the actual races
-going through the swap meet (even longer if you are buying or selling)
-seeing the bike shows (even longer if you show a bike)
-seeing interesting bikes parked from one end of the faclility to the other
-riding the tram, just taking it all in
-checking out the auction (longer if bidding and/or selling)
-sampling the food
-watching the airshow and seeing other static exhibits
-riding the nearby area if you came on a bike
-riding the track, if you pay for the guest rider lap(s)
-visiting in the campground with friends, and making new acquaintances
-meeting and talking to Mr. Barber & his staff

Two full days in the museum will give you a much more enjoyable time than just the typical half-day visit; plus you need that much time to get good photos and read the "poop sheets" on each of the interesting bikes on display at any given time.

Thanks Dave, and nicely done. As someone who has had to live vicariously through others in terms of Vintage Days this year, I thank you.

When I win the lottery I'm taking as many of you to Barber as I can!
