October 11, 12 and 13, Birmingham Alabama. I'll be there and hope to see CNW, Kenney, Jim and others. We should all plan to eat out or gather at one of our campsites. Who else will be there? Are you going to race this year Kenney?
Dan.

They do lectures at this event and for years I have offered to lectures on chain.

Considering the number of classic Brit bikes over there and the problems surrounding
chain, which one to use etc etc etc, I would have thought they would keen...but no.

Setting my sights on this one. Been there before as a spectator; nice park like setting, world class museum, loads of friendly people and lots of bikes. Should have a race bike there through KC.

You all come down and say hello. Comstock will be hanging out. And Matt/CNW will have their area again this year.

I'm thinking a AccessNorton meetup. Anyone interested?

I am up for meeting. Will be camping in the trackside camping spots.

Looking forward to seeing Matt from CNW and taking possession of build 99.

Hoping to meet Mr Comstock. Would like to discuss the fine art of machining with him LOL

I am new to AccessNorton, but not new to Vintage English Motorcycles

I'll be there with My Ranger and G15. An acquaintance of mine is big with Ducati, and has a dinner Saturday night by the hotel. She's got Cook Neilson, Brian Slark and a few others coming to regale us with war stories. I'll be stopping by the INOA tent, and meeting up with Mike at his Walridge booth.

I've got a room at the Hilton and a spot in campground 'D'.

Locked and loaded for two days of practice and two days of racing. I will be racing the Nourish Seeley (#29 built and prepared by NYCNorton) and pitting with Holmeslice. Come on by and visit.

I plan on showing up riding my Norton. My work related outage should be finished if there are no more delays. Vacation set to go. I installed a new cylinder head gasket. I need to finish off another heat cycle/ re-torque, then a local 100 mile trip for one more re-torque, oil change and some prep work, saddle bags along with a wing and a prayer on the 7th Oct. I’ll meet up with my Vintage pals at the Niagara boarder to New York to head south.
It would be fun to do an Access Norton Group Pic.
Cheers,
Thomas

I will be based out of vendor spot A28*. I am opened to request to display Norton Related info, etc. Give me a ping.

* If not recalled from military leave.

I'll be all over that weekend. I was going to bring everything up, but my buddy with the Triton backed out 2 weeks ago, so I'm just rolling the G15CS and Ranger into the back of the pickup and driving up. Figure I'll be alternating parking one someplace (like the INOA or Matchless tents) and riding the other. I'll be in campground 'D' part of the time.

How about an AccessNorton.com meetup at 2pm on Saturday at the CNW booth/trailer/whatever they bring? Does that work for everyone?

That should work. CNW last year was in the pit area, which is set up as a 3-tier parking lot going from the ring road down to the track. They were in the section closest to the road with a custom semi trailer set-up.
INOA last year had a couple booths in the fan zone which is on the opposite side of the track, towards the end of the back straight.

Hey everyone, and thanks Spiermoor for pointing me here...

I'll be driving down from New York City in the nycmc van with my kenny-built commando in back. my contact number is 917 975 2829...please add me to any group texts for meeting up, etc. I may not easily be able to get online once I hit the road tomorrow.

If anyone is along the route down and needs a lift, thats a possibility too. Taking 81 all the way down!

While you lads are there please point out my offer of doing chain talks was genuine.

With Nortons and Laverdas there should be good responses, the one thing lacking is
chain knowledge and I have 40 years and willing to share.

I am 63 so time marches on.
