the closest is the 100/90 although NONE of them is a 100% match and IMHO is a far better tire than the dunlop K81.

What size AM26 equates to the Dunlop K81 4.10 H19?

Thanks. As long as it comes in a 19" tire that will be my next upgrade. I would rather ride than wobble. I assume they good in the twisties. Thanks for your help.

Upon what seems to be a mini-concensus of the forum I have a pair to be delivered this PM. It'll be a long while 'til I can report on the performance of same as the bike is in bits at the moment and my new wheels haven't arrived. Good price at American Motorcycle Tire .

NOT ON A STOCK WM 2 wheel. but I am not sure you would know this either. it also IS NOT the replacement size for a 410 19 K81 as the OP asked for!!!

I like the 110/90 in back, but they seem to be unavailable lately...

while i love the AM26's there are some (although few) reports of them splitting under special circumstances - typically when used w/ heavy bikes. While this may not apply to the commando itself - the commando plus certain riders on this forum who have suggested their daily caloric intake exceeds daily caloric utilization (DogT?) may have to consider this

Avon doesn't list the AM26 in that size on their site, so I suspect they no longer make it.

Like many others, I run the 100/90-19 AM26 front and rear on my street Commando, and find them at least as good as the 4.10 K81s I used to have, and probably better, certainly on rain grooved roads.

In the canyons I actually like the K81 better. It's a really good rain tire too, IMHO. AM26 is much better on rain grooved roads however.

In reading the specs of the AM26, it looks like they would lower the bike just a bit, compared to the K81s I will be replacing soon... is that correct?

thanks,

Don
