Once out of the low rice lands, can't hardly get a bad ride route. I'd take hwy 59 or up through East Texas for its pleasantness getting to the Great stuff. To get above I-40, Hwy 7 is called Clinton Fwy. as its so crooked but also well trafficked but flow along to see stuff. Hwy 123 is W of Hwy 7 and only
local and hot shot bikers on it as flows like race track most the way then gets so sharp and steep trucks can't make the bends and sign warn them off. Riders get killed there, but visitiors and me too do it then turn around for it in reverse. Could even lead right into Jasper Disaster near me.

I usually take Hwy 21 N, better than Pig Trail to me, way less traveled and goes through Kingston village I practice in. Must stop in Eureka Springs no matter what and spend night there if not longer its that Victorian quaint hippie caravel real deal craved limestone roller coaster town. The TransAmerican off road trail goes through Ozarks too, but yuk in rainy conditions.

Description of the famous routes I happened to land ground zero in.

Always expect some one to fling wide in turns and surprises around or over every blind. Ponca, Lost Valley, Hwy 43, the Elk come out at dusk and hang out till full daylight right up on hwy. Elk museum in Ponca is worth a pass through, but so many places are. Dog Patch now has The Hub motorcycle resort on Hwy 7. Can go days and days on new ground and not get too far away to have dinner at base camp. Yes Li't Abner's home town, really, closed now. Its bigger than many towns and can be seen as if a deserted hillbilly town from Hwy.

Thanks!,
2 of the guy's are riding H-D Barcaloungers but the other is on a real bike (KLR650) and wants "real" roads, this will give him a starting-point.

Don't short change a good Harley and rider, its scary as hell for me to follow them on my SV650 that can lean way more when required. The Dragon has banked turns, but Ozarks tend to be just as sharp but more level or even off banked slope by time apex reached. Warn them to always expect wide fliers and natural hazards in blinds so no playing or kicking up heel UNLESS YOU CAN SEE the whole pavement surface the whole way around or down. Another danger here is cresting tops and seeing easy to make passes of slow car but there is dip in down side that can hide semi trailer until almost in your face. Spring is here and easy to get distracted by the glowing greens and contrasting tree and flower blooms, log cabins, old tractors and women in short shorts. On good days there are more cycles out than cages. I like the sweet potato frys in Jasper on Hwy 7.

Somewhat of a contradiction of terms. Those routes look great, but I'd run them during the week to avoid the fat bald crowd on big ugly bikes.

OK, the visitors are like extended trail of motor homes. I was thinking about the local here that for sure don't delay any one behind them. They are some of the wide flyers I worry about when I'm riding though. For Some reason the HD guys love to ride in opposite lane. When heated up on Peel even the insane squids hold me up too much.

Trixie Combat should be ready to ride this month. Here's the head end of Ark. Snake Hwy 123, it can way too easy become un-fun in a hurry. Going "up" in elevation means heading southward on Ozark Plateau-Highlands-Mt's. Can't find the one sport pilot that really attacks these thing, not so much by the faster cornering, but but the sprints out of apexes and brave ass braking into apexes, as its sections like this where I learned all else but Ms Peel is a corner cripple and I ain't the man I wish to be to really trust what Peel is capable of in these blinds. See if these don't suck ya in. I hope to get my video shorter to view.

Aka, Race Tract Road to those that know about it nation wide.
About 20 miles from home. The only long straight is a new bridge over the Kings River valley. Used to be low water so flooded each rain. Road was all THE Gravel when I first got there '99. I did in a bunch as leads into Forest Preserve horse trail road and eventually home the longer scenic adventure way around. This another place I've lost respect for fat tire moderns compared to Peel, mine or any ones. You can let it hair out along here. Mostly.
