It was probably an era that will never come again, those 500 two strokes, with the exception of some road going Suzuki RG500 converted to racers are rarely seen these days except on parade laps. (No available spares for the racers)
Mallory Park is slightly different now, with at least three chicanes on the old circuit, I personally no longer go to race meeting as it has, for me, lost its sparkle.
