Anyone up for a Norton Electric in 2-3 years

it's all good because the tech is being pushed politically.
Norton have no choice, they have to develop EVs.
Call it anything like Voltron, The Juice, Electro, anything but Commando!
You mean the Super Premium Commando EV MC doesn't spark interest?

My thoughts exactly,

But even worse than scam that EVs ARE

The powers that be want personal transport done away with,
They want full control,

Maybe the huge price increases at the pumps are a ploy for us sheep to voluntary move to public transport?

Once shared transport is a reality, the state can start pushing share domiciles for multiple families to live together. That will help eliminate houses, etc., etc.
That will usher in the human hive lifestyle.
Submit, Resistance is futile!

Norton better get into EV bikes or they’ll be over before long. Ducati is supplying all the EV bikes for the FIN MOTO series.
Ducatis V21L.

Not to mention Triumph TE-1

Then you will only be able to go where the bus goes!!!

I think the electric stuff is ok around citys (when their new) but electric cars will be the next ecological disaster , we get new and second had imports of EVs , the second hand ones batteries would be closer to 60 % left ,high replacement cost means its off to the special wreckers ,10-15 year life !! , all second hand batteries need special factory for recycling ,(china) imagine a stock pile of them awaiting shipping ,(if they'll take them) one might catch on fire ? and now they are looking to scrape the sea beds for materials for the batteries
Watch , "Planet of the humans " full documentary , by Mike Moore , and also some "Micheal Shellenberger " on You Tube There is plenty of Data from 40 + years that a lot of the Green movement isn't working . And those so called Bio Mass, Green power stations
1000s of them in the USA burning 40 chord and hour of green wood and chopped up tires , to keep your zero emissions ? ! EV on the road .
Awesome post !

Thinking on, though.... Another thought to throw in the EV basket: We're being told to alter our 'lifestyle' and factor in a break during the recharge cycle......
But.... that assumes you can get straight to a vacant outlet. Who hasn't queued for days at peak periods, bank holidays etc., bearing in mind the person/persons in front of you will be there even longer than the current crop of weekly shoppers clogging up Tesco/BP et al garage fore courts everywhere...
Take a book, sleeping bag and anti-depressants, perhaps?

Funny you mention that… my first reaction was how it looks so similar to their current bikes !
True to a point.
The angular bits that appear to be JB Weld-ed to the bike do look similar to the current triples.
It's the under structure that is different. No cylinders, pipes, crankcase, clutch cover, etc.
This is now a plain, amorphous mass of square battery boxes, and a cylindrical electric motor housing.
All not quite evocative as a motorcycle, more like an appliance.
However, it does have spaceship type aesthetics, so I'm sure it will appeal to the young.

Perhaps it’s fortunate that most manufacturers engines have actually been getting uglier and uglier, so there not so much lost ?!

I do also believe that certain manufacturers have been deliberately hiding their engines and styling bikes in such a way as to ease the transition to electric. I think most manufacturers will manage to pull this off reasonably well, Harley of course stand out as inevitably struggling with this though.

It seems to me that fewer people these days really care what engine they have.
