Anybody gone down this road with your Norton rims?

The Borrani WM-4 rims I run have the safety bead profile. Not fun to break the bead when changing tires.
Still looking for a good bead breaker.
Try the commercial bead breaker , some tyre breakdown vans have them, but you need to carry a hammer to use it.

Next two happened within milliseconds of each other. Both punctured when a copper pulled a spike strip across the highway I was travelling on at 100kph. Was 10 hrs from home at the time.

Were you the target of the spike strip? Or simply an unlucky passerby?

Just found out from Buchanan's that most of the wider rims from Sun, Excel, and Borrani (I think it was 2.15" and wider) have the "MT" profile, with the safety bead that would be desired to mount a tubeless tire, after sealing the spokes.

I use a small F clamp, not even a Dunlop D606 will stop it.
With something under the screw pad against the rim shoulder the bead has no choice.

16" Sunbeam tyre for visual demonstration purposes..

I'm Running Morad WM4 rims right now on my Interstate, but I am not too sure if it would work with this tubeless system? I wandered off the WM2 rim path long ago when I went to the Avon Roadrider AM26 tire. Its WM4 for me now.
The Michelin AIRSTOP BUTYL tubes have worked flawless so far with +50k on the clock so I'm wondering???... If it ain't broke... don't fix it?
The jury is still out.
