Any luck with RGM?

I would like to add that I feel like I gave RGM a bit of a bashing this morning.

I truly hope they can resolve their website issues sooner rather than later and get back to normal. Their service has been outstanding over the few years I've been buying from them.

I am inquiring about a belt drive for an Atlas but so far they've been really slow to respond. Is this normal? Are they also very slow about shipping?
Could be Roger is tired of dealing customers in the USA? :)

Last time I ordered from RGM/Roger, it was all done on the website. Orders showed up promptly. Probably 3 years ago maybe more. Initially before my first order email was responded to. Email has not been responded to since. (I may not have had the email address with the secret handshake.) I don't bother with email. I hope Roger's website doesn't get turned into a poor excuse of a searchable text only database. Running a website that looks like it was created in the late 1980's is not very impressive.

You might have to order most of the pieces separately for the belt clutch. Pre-Commando alternator kits are not in stock. Which might be why you get no answers to email related to the Atlas belt drive. I have the 30mm belt that used to come with those pre-Commando kits if you want it.

I did see Bonzo's note from Roger about the website issues. Try doing it like Roger suggests.

Edit: If your customer has a lot of money to burn you could try TGA and Andy Molnar. He has NEB belt clutches.

I might take you up on the belt. Who's pulleys do the fit? What is the length for an Atlas?

It fits RGM AT10 belt drive pulleys. Grey Synchroflex AT10 32mm wide 980mm length. 32mm was a race width and I have no idea why RGM sent me that belt when I ordered the kit. By the way, I tried to get RGM to exchange the belt using email. That is when the email stopped coming from RGM's side. The belt has never been used and is free because it's too wide and long for a P11. I have a few other parts that come with that kit. Not free though. PM me if you are still interested.

The pre-Commando with alternator kits now come with the Red Gen3 20mm x 980mm belt. I use a 25mm x 880mm belt in the P11. It's borderline short, but functional.

If you go to the RGM site and search on "pre-Commando belt clutch" the parts and part numbers that are included in the kit are listed.
