The joys of twisties and perfect weather -

For those lucky enough to live in San Diego, the lure of riding the mountain twisties on the weekends is tough to resist - as it was with me recently.

There are always a couple of guys taking photos on Palomar Mountain on Sundays and I finally remembered to look at their sites to see what the photos looked like. Bought myself this one for Christmas.

This is what Commandos are for, n'est pas?

Another great ride

That's a nice picture. There wont be many of us who have an "action" picture of themselves. Enjoy 8) 8)

Who made the rear sets out of interest?

I bought the rearsets from Mick Hemmings about 3 or 4 years ago. Don't know who made them though.

Lots of adjustability , and a simple bolt-on solution.

they were not that expensive at the time either. I had been on a waitlist for some from Clubman Racing, but by the time they contacted me to say they had some back in stock, I had already had bought a set from Hemmings.

No regrets, as they are pretty much mandatory to go with the Corbin seat, which drops the seating position down a couple of inches from the stock seat, and makes for quite a squeeze for the old legs.

Great action shot...nothing like screaming up hills in 3rd gear to get your heart pumping.

Not trying to be a snob, but I'm a big fan of ATGATT....might I suggest some functional riding boots with ankle protection? JMHO, fellow Nortoneer, as my foot "gear" saved my Keister (and toes) more than once.
