Alloy tank sealing

Doea a new alloy tank require sealing? My guess is it would not but after ponying up the big bucks for this guy I want to be sure. Thanx, Rick
 
Don't coat it, alloy tanks are easily repaired by welding and polishing. Keep an eye on the seams for a while and don't paint it untill you are certain they are going to hold up. Rick
 
I just bought a new aluminum tank. Based upon what I've read on this forum about gas tank sealants, there will be nothing but gasoline in my new tank.
