Hi all,
A handy feature on the new site is the ability to "Add Tags" to a thread.

This is particularly useful if a thread wanders off topic ( a rarity I know ). So for example as recently seen, somebody has problems with their kickstart ratchet but the thread wanders to gearchange return spring which is also very useful info. You can add a tag, or indeed several separated by a comma (no space). So in this case you could add Kickstart, gearchange, layshaft etc. And those terms will be searchable by folks wanting to get info. in the future.

All threads have the feature built in..

Cheers,

cliffa.

Thanks for the lesson on this. If I understand correctly I could add my own tags so that the thread or topic would be searchable by my own memory tool? Whatever it might be.

Err, yes I think so.

Thanks Cliffa - helpful.
Might I now wander off to discuss gearchange... ?

Err, yes I think so.

It seems to work. Note the new tag included at the top of this thread. I'll always be able to find it now.

(maybe I need to be a little selective in my choice of tags?)

rvich, love that new tag ;)

However a search for "Pure Bullshit"may come back with too many results
