Actual FCR35 venturi ID

Can someone measure the actual side to side venturi of an FCR35 near the needle? Is it 35 or 34mm? I know the adapter and area near the velo stack is 35 but the venturi looks smaller (I don't have one on hand to measure).

The 35mm FCRs are 35mm all the way through once past the odd shaped bell in the throttle body at the rear.

It is difficult to take a pic of it, but here is one from the rear with the filter adapters mounted. Running your fingers over it and/or using a straight edge would tell you the venturi area the slide runs up and down in is the same diameter. In the pic the area you are talking about looks larger, but it is the same.
