So I was helping a mate tune his xs650 that he had just fitted a new ignition system to and the basic concept is an electronic pickup with an AAU that kicks in at 4000rpm. Wholey Dooley this thing was awesome!! Idled like a ship from 900rpm and quite sedated through to 4000 them BAM!! AAU KICKS IN AND IT WAS LIKE SOMEONE TURNED THE NOS TAP
Got me thinking, felt like a combat cam in the ole girl.
My point is, a linear curve with all the ignitions available for the commando gives a nice graduation of power but has any one tried a set up like this or know of a setup like this on the commando?
