My father was a WW2 soldier, and when I was a kid the pubs closed at 6 o'clock. So I have never been a drinker. These days I only usually ever have a drink, is when I amount dining with my wife. I loved my father dearly - he had PTSD from being bombed in Western Australia - he was the ultimate shit-stirrer. Every evening at dinner time was a battle. It stood me in good stead later - nobody ever bluffs me. But I cannot go into a public bar. They bring out the worst in me.
 
Since you posted the Tequila photo , been thinking of a T party my future wife & I hosted back in late ‘70’s … buddy showed up and taught all how to make & drink a Tequila puff , was a long night for most , too much of the T for sure 🧐

A father was trying to teach his young son the evils of alcohol.

He put one worm in a glass of water and another worm in a glass of whiskey. The worm in the water lived, while the one in the whiskey curled up and died.

"All right, son," asked the father, "what does that show you?"

"Well, Dad, it shows that if you drink alcohol, you will not have worms."


I'm proud to say I don't have worms.

I don't drink beer... But I have around a hundred different types of alcohols, liquors etc etc.. My drink of choice during the day (especially when it's sunny) is a Garibaldi which is simple to make and probably good for you.

4pt Orange Juice, 1.5pt Campari... I usually drink two glasses of these a day to get me started (after coffee of course). It's the Italian unification cocktail.. I probably wouldn't have to drink so much if I had a vintage Italian bike ;)

I like mixing weird drinks, it's therapeutic after a day trying to get the Commando started.

Well Norluck there is your problem, you don't drink beer maybe you just need a good drink and tuffen up a bit and give it a good f#*king kick, be brave and man up and kick the bastard, forget any pain just kick it.
