Hello! My first post here, and looking for some help.
My 2014 961 Headlight stopped working. The headlight and running light illuminate momentarily when I start the bike, but go out as soon as I release the starter button.
I found that the light switch is stuck in the top position, and will not move to the running light or off position.
The turnsignals function properly.
The horn switch functions properly.

I was unsucsessful in disaassemlbing the swithch assembly - I couldn't see how to remove the light switch lever without damaging it.

Is it possible to replace this unit? Where can I buy it?

The light switch is pinned to the on position. Is Americans are to dumb to know to turn the headlights on.

Did you check the relay under the tank?

I believe the switch block is a very close match to a Domino 0060AA.9A or 0060AA.9

I wrote these part numbers down some time ago, but haven't confirmed they are the EXACT part.

Domino website is here:

That is the switch. Only difference in part numbers are the connectors. They were the vendor. Look on the vendor list to confirm but that's the switch gear we have used for replacements

Hi My relay failed on me while riding some dark fast twisty lanes o_O - when I switched to main beam it went out completely so I switched back to dip but still nothing. I don't understand why I couldn't get one of them unless the power feed to the common inside the relay had gone but anyway; replacement relay and underwear and all was well again. Note that if you put a relay in with a diode across the coil you may have to swap the polarity of the coil wires.

If you are getting a momentary light when starting that's odd but I would swap the relay first. Always a good idea to replace the relays as many people had problems with them - I had the lighting and a running problem with them. Norton's comment at the time was that the looms come with them attached so they have no control of quality???.

Yes , Try the crank time lights off relay replacement first . Way less expensive than a switch cluster , and more likely too.

Many thanks to TonyA and Clive for your inputs. It turned out the w/g wire was disconnected to the relay.
I love it when repairs are completely free!
Cheers, db
