Bill,

I see you have a couple of left hand shifters. Do you ever catch yourself going for the wrong lever? As I get older I'm catching myself doing that. I've been banging my K75 into gear from neutral thinking I was going for the brake. My driveway has a pretty good slope to it, hence the reason for wanting the brake. Thinking very seriously of going with a MK III.

That's funny Jim. I've given myself a couple of thrills with the old featherbed Commando when I've charged into a corner like a sixteen year old and upshifted instead of brakeing. Just barely made it around once.
On the way back burner is possibly converting it to the same pattern as my other five bikes.

I've been thinking of changing the shifter on my Triumph to 1 up, 5 down, so at least I don't have to think up or down, just left or right. :)

Most racers like down for upshift, as its hard to get your toe under a lever to upshift when you're still leaned over coming out of a corner.
